My passion for music started when I heard my brother and his friends play chamber music. When I was 8 years old, I was intrigued with the viola but it was too big of an instrument for me so I started his musical career with a violin. In two years I had grown enough that I switched to the beloved viola. I have now studied the viola for 9 years. I currently study with Masumi Per Rostad at the Eastman School of Music.
